île d’Orléans
I was enamored with the landscape of île d’Orléans, just north of Old Quebec City.
I was struck by the loneliness and solitude of the farmscapes. Often was most present was what was missing. This series captures the beauty of the landscape and solitude of the farmland.
All paintings are also available as limited edition signed and numbered giclee prints. See store for details

Micah
2019 | Bronze | 18”H x 13”W x 4”D | Edition of 12
Micah was a quirky young man — a true artist at heart — whose voice was silenced too soon. This piece is based on a photo of him at around the age of 17 or 18, showing off his first tattoo. I was struck by the vulnerability of the pose, which seemed to capture his essence – a young man willing to expose himself fully to the world, living bravely and pursuing his own self-determined journey. His pursuit of a fully authentic life inspires me.
