Paul Kroner | Seen & Felt

Touch Art Gallery, May 19-June 16, 2014

Gallery Press Release:

Through his art, Paul Kroner explores the intersections of art and design, of what’s seen in the world and what’s felt, of realism and symbolism. Kroner’s new show at the Touch Gallery in Cambridge from May 19 – June 16, 2014, exhibits his two- and three-dimensional talent for capturing what he sees as each subject’s essence.  At his Somerville studio, Kroner paints with bold colors in oils and acrylics and creates sculptures that are cast in bronze, steel and non-metallic media.  His work celebrates the human figure through both real and abstract representations, often paring images down to their purest gestures.

Kroner holds a degree in Design from University of Cincinnati’s Design, Art and Architecture program, and has studied art at Mass Art, The International School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture, and the Cambridge Center for Adult Education.  He has also taught design and art at Mass Art, The Art Institute of Boston, The Montserrat School of Art, and the Cambridge Center for Adult Education.

PAUL KRONER | SEEN+FELT runs at the Touch Gallery, 281 Concord Ave, Cambridge from May 19 – June 16, 2014, with an Artist reception on June 6, from 6 – 8 p.m. Further information, such as gallery hours, etc., is available at touchag.com, or at (617) 547-0017.
