I was enamored with the landscape of île d’Orléans, just north of Old Quebec City.
I was struck by the loneliness and solitude of the farmscapes. Often was most present was what was missing. This series captures the beauty of the landscape and solitude of the farmland.

My new show, “Paul Kroner: Seen + Felt” officially opens today at the Touch Art Gallery at 281 Concord Ave, in Cambridge.
The show includes 5 sculptures and 15 paintings, including this 30 x 48″ oil on linen painting entitled “The Jazzman”.
The “artist reception” is June 6th from 6-8 pm.
