I just received word that two of my pieces were juried into the "Speak Up 2020" show at the Piano Craft Gallery in Boston.
I'm honored to be included in this juried show about how artists have been using their voices to facilitate difficult discussions about issues such as social justice, racism, discrimination, the climate crisis, as well as visions of beauty, a bright future, and manifestations of happiness.
The accepted work includes "Together for Justice" which is an illustration I did in response to the protests that erupted after the murder of George Floyd, and "Can You Hear Me Now" a bold and iconic image celebrating one's unique voice!
"Can You Hear Me Now" is now on sale for $40
"Together for Justice" is $60 with all proceeds going to support the Southern Poverty Law Center, which works to expose hate and injustice, fight discrimination, and educate for a diverse democracy.
