My goal when I started working on this sculpture was to create a derivative human form, releasing myself from strict adherence to direct observation. The outcome evolved organically and the ambiguity of the form surprised and intrigued me, and has led to an exploration that now includes about a dozen sculptures, paintings, and animations.
