Paul Kroner: "Allegories in Bronze" opens at Gallery OTR

Updated: Mar 11, 2020

An exhibition of bronze sculptures by Cincinnati native Paul Kroner opens at Gallery OTR, 1121 Walnut Street, with a reception on Friday, Sept. 22, from 5-8 p.m.

Among his bronzes in the exhibition are selections from Kroner’s “Twood” series, which has caught the attention of private collectors.

” ‘Twoods‘ are timeless allegorical figures that symbolically represent humankind,” Kroner said. “Projecting innocence, curiosity, and quiet intensity, simultaneously observing and engaging their environment, ‘Twoods‘ invariably invoke strong emotional responses in the folks who’ve seen.”

Kroner recently relocated to his home-town after living in the Boston area for the past 35 years.

“I’m excited to be back in Cincinnati during this inspiring time for the city, and thrilled to have the opportunity to show my work alongside such great talent in a new gallery,” he said. Kroner’s sculpture and paintings are highly regarded and are in private collections nationally. He lives in OTR with a studio in Lower Price Hill.

The exhibition runs for six months.
